I just got done making a quiz on Socrative and then had my son take the quiz! I loved the immediate feedback that I received while he took the quiz. His excitement was less than desired but it is summer! Making quizzes is easy and not too time-consuming. I love that they also download and can be printed on paper. That will be nice if a student is absent the day of class so you can give them the quiz on paper.
The Ipads that I have access to will be a great way to use this tool. If I didn't have them, then I wouldn't be able to use it. The schools that issue each student a tablet would be able to use this tool. It is great that it keeps the statistics for each student and each question. It would help me recognize what areas of my lecture were not understood or that I didn't explain well enough. It also can help me see if I have students that are falling behind and see any trends from day to day.
